Personal identification information
The Company may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit the site, register on the site, download the App, launch the App, create an assignment, create a survey, accept an assignment, subscribe to the newsletter, respond to a survey, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources they make available via the Services. Users may be asked for, as appropriate, name, email address, mailing address, phone number and credit card information. The Company will collect personal identification information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information. Users can refuse to supply information regarding their personal information and accept that it may prevent them from engaging in certain functionality of the Services.
Account Creation
KnowledgeTRAK requires certain personal identification information during the account setup process to establish Users identity. Name, email address, gender, age and other background details are all required to create a KnowledgeTRAK account.
Location
KnowledgeTRAK utilises location services within User’s smartphones to obtain proof of physical visit (where necessary), during the completion of an assignment. The Businesses who created the assignment will receive information about the location their assigned shoppers have visited when evaluating customer experience.
Payment and Withdrawal
In order for the Company to collect subscription payments for the Services or to collect top ups for assignment accounts, Users are required to provide the Company with credit card details.
Our Mystery Shoppers
When a shopper undertakes an assignment, the location information and report collected and/or generated through answering questions and taking photos becomes the property of the Business. In addition to the content created during an assignment, KnowledgeTRAK will share; the shopper’s location at the time the visit is conducted, the Users first name, initial of last name and the type of device used (e.g. iPhone).
Other Information
The Company may collect non-personal identification information about Users whenever they interact with the Services. The website uses “cookies” and these obtain certain types of information when Users accesses the KnowledgeTRAK Site.
“Cookies” are small text files a website can use to recognize repeat users. KnowledgeTRAK may use cookies to recognize visitors and more quickly provide personalized content or grant unimpeded access to the website.
How the Company protects your information
KnowledgeTRAK adopts appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of personal information, username, password, transaction information and data stored within the Services. These practices are reviewed regularly to ensure that the Company protects Users’ information to the highest possible standards.
Sensitive and private data transmission between the Services are conducted using over a secured communication channel (SSL) and data is encrypted and protected with digital signatures.
